The ranch is situated on over 50 lovely acres, nestled in an area of productive farmland near Fair Bluff, North Carolina - approximately 40 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean, and situated directly on the NC/SC state line. We are conveniently located just 25 minutes east of I-95, 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach (SC), 45 minutes from Florence (SC), less than an hour from Wilmington (NC), and about two hours from Charleston (SC). The area is beautiful, open, and quiet, with plenty of wildlife and birds to observe.
Our equine facility is professionally designed and provides the latest in comfort and efficiency for both the equine and human client. The open air design provides excellent circulation throughout the entire barn. Each 12 x 12 stall has rubber floor mats, sliding doors, and an overhead fly system. There are two wash stalls mid-barn with hot and cold water, and hot/cold water is also available at both ends of the barn for ease and convenience. The pens and pastures are fenced using the finest horse-safe Centaur fencing, and with no common fence line between pens/pastures, providing for individual safety. There is a 150 x 240 arena and miles of trails and dirt roads to investigate. Please check out the Facilities button at the left of this website page for more information.
The ranch sits on 50 lush North Carolina acres, where we cut and bale the finest horse quality Coastal Bermuda hay. Each cutting is carefully managed to ensure the highest possible protein and weed-free content. Samples from every cutting are sent to the lab at Clemson University for testing and validation of nutrients and food value. We make both round and square bales, and can custom bale our fields upon customer request to ensure their product of choice. Check out the Hay for Sale button on the left side of this website page for more information on our hay production.
We are also a dealer for THE HAY HUT, an all weather enclosed horse hay feeder. The Hay Hut capitalizes on the economy of round bales, eliminates "waste" and "food fights". Your hay is protected from inclement weather and the horses have separated access to the hay eliminating fights. The "waste" from feeding a round bale to horses outdoors can be in excess of one third of the bale - this loss is virtually eliminated by the Hay Hut! The Hay Hut pays for itself in less than one year! Please check out the Hay Huts button for more information on this wonderful product.
We have raised quality Paint Horses (APHA) for many years, and are focused on breeding exceptional performance prospects, including; Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter/Jumper, and/or Dressage athletes. Our broodmares have been in the family for all of their life, spanning several generations of fine selective breeding. We breed to exceptional young performance stallions, emphasizing a great mind, beautiful color, and superb athleticism. The babies are haltered within a few days of foaling and are on a lead rope within a week. They are handled every day, twice a day, as they are led in/out with their dam to spend at least half of the day outdoors. Once weaned, this twice a day handling program continues, and is highly beneficial to their behavior as a yearling and in their further training. We almost always have a weanling or yearling on site with the trainer. All of our youngsters are available for sale - check out the Horses for Sale button on this website page for more specific information on our available individuals.
